For Volunteers

Enter the Classroom with Confidence

At Ready Readers, we want weekly classroom visits to be enjoyable for everyone. We set volunteers up for success through training programs, in-class support visits, and volunteer resources. We value volunteer feedback, and continually develop workshops and materials to help volunteers prepare young children to become readers.

Volunteer Workshops

In addition to new volunteer orientation, Ready Readers hosts continuing education workshops for volunteers throughout the year. Volunteers are invited to participate in workshops to learn more about great read aloud books, children’s favorite songs and rhymes, tips for leading engaging storytime sessions, and much more. Join us for one or for all and gain new skills to enhance storytime with your class.
